Panel: International Projects - WWW2018

This Panel is an excellent opportunity to gain inside on the running of flagship research projects. Panelists are project leaders or staff deeply involved in these projects. In addition to the theoretical aspects, these researchers are practitioners with real hands-on experience.

  • It is difficult to lead a consortium of strong-willed institutions.
  • Grant writing becomes imperative. You need to write the next phase of the grant, or propose a new grant, before the old grant expires to be able to retain the staff you hired.
  • A project manager is essential for the smooth running of the grant, it relieves you of many administrative functions.
